About Us

Wood County Elections/Voter Registration Office has moved to our new Annex Building at 200 W Bermuda St. in Quitman, Texas.  The Office is responsible for Elections and Voter Registration for the County, which has a population of just over 42,000 residents; approximately 32,000 being registered voters.  There are 14 voting precincts and over 20 political subdivisions which include Cities, Independent School Districts, Water Districts, a Fire District and Hospital District.

Here you will find information on registering to vote, the election process, voting, becoming a poll worker, a poll watcher and a volunteer deputy registrar.

It is our hope that this website will help educate our citizens and voters of Wood County by providing useful information.
