Wood County Elections and Voter Registration Office is located on the fourth floor of the Courthouse in Quitman, Texas.  The Office is responsible for Elections and Voter Registration for the County, which has a population of just over 42,000 residents; approximately 29,000 being registered voters.  There are 14 voting precincts and over 20 political subdivisions which include Cities, Independent School Districts, Water Districts, a Fire District and Hospital District.

Here you will find information on registering to vote, the election process, voting, becoming a poll worker, a poll watcher and a volunteer deputy registrar.
